Write Up:It was a fabulous day for a hike up to Rummel Pass.
We were on trail by 9.30 so got to the meadow area above the lake
before the heat of the day. Once there we were greeted by a most
welcome breeze and 4 beautiful big horn sheep.
Lunch was enjoyed at the pass overlooking Lost Lake.
It was definitely a hot day on the descent but much nicer than a hot
day in the city. And we got to cool off as we crossed the lower
reaches of an old avalanche slope along the way ;-)
17km and 670m of cumulative elevation gain.
