Write Up:Thanks to a head's up about the cold wind on Jumpingpound the previous
day, we were loaded up with toques, mitts and warm clothing. As it
turned out we did experience the cold wind initially and intermittently,
but the sun was out over the glorious view of the valley and we managed
to get to the 4th Top (as described by Gillean Daffern). We looked at
the 5th Top which is a grassy slope above the gas plant as well as the
5th Col which was a scramble down a rocky scree. We decided we had done
plenty for the day. It took us 6 3/4 hours to complete the hike. A
glorious day!
