Write Up:A great group of hikers again! I am so lucky to hike with such marvellous people! Thank you
all for coming. The trail on hike up from the south was dry, the views of Forget Me Not Ridge,
the Kananaskis mountains and Elbow River and Valley below were spectacular. The flowers
put the icing on the cake. At the ridge we had a 10 minute light rain sprinkle with a not so
loud clap of thunder so we were not deterred from photographing Nihahi Ridge and the north
and south mountains. The descent to the north end was fast and we were happy to see the
cars waiting for us to take us back to the start of the hike just 5.5 kms down the gravel road.
