Write Up:What a beautiful day. Sunny with a high of 10 C.
There was frost on the ground, grass, bushes and trees when we started, and higher up
about a cm of snow. No need for microspikes.
The aspens were at their peak yellow.
We enjoyed beautiful colourful valley views with the snow covered mountains in the
background. A log big enough for all of us in a pleasant sunny meadow was a great place to
relax and have lunch. The views on the return part of the loop were just as wonderful.
We had a great group. Overall it was an OK day.
