Write Up:We followed Susan Challier's route on good trails to the High Noon Hills
and down to the Sheep River. There were a couple of steep bits on the
trail down to the river but everyone managed it well. Going up was easy.
We returned on a different AllTrails route to the East of Susan's route
to make a loop. Our route was intermittent and required some route
finding skills though tall grasses. No problem for our fearless group.
When we got back to the road half the group decided to walk back to the
parking area via the road and half hiked back on the planned route via
the Macabee trail. It was a wonderful day with good weather, and a great
group of hardy hikers.
