Write Up:Hardcore group of hikers celebrated the new year with a wonderful hike. Starting temperature
was minus 15 but no wind and a clear, blue sky. Delicate frost formations on the trees made for
a winter wonderland. Tailgate celebration at the end of the hike made a perfect beginning to the
new year and a new hiking season.
