Write Up:Great hiking weather all day. Our small group of hardy adventurers explored and found a
route up to and across Grass Ridge (on west side above the Grass Pass trail) for great views
on the Highwood River Valley. We found lots of prayer flags on the ridge. We returned by the
traditional route on the Gunnery Creek trail. We were the only ones on the trails all day.
