Write Up:Turned out to be a beautiful day with excellent weather and a great group.
We were the only hikers in the area all day. There were some cows and a group of horseback
riders.
The lower sections were muddy with the trail destroyed by cows.
On return we avoided the mud by crossing the fence - the trail is always better on the other
side of the fence.
