There were five other participants as well, and we all had a wonderful
four days of hiking.

Rustic Icefall Lodge sits at 1900m and is 70km north of Golden BC,
accessible by helicopter. It's very remote with no internet
availability -- a wonderful way to leave a busy world behind.
We arrived in the late afternoon in time for lunch and an afternoon
break-in hike. The terrain is challenging. The trail to Espresso
Ridge immediately climbs through forest with obstacle-course tree
roots. Some of us went to the ridge and back the same way, while
others completed a loop back to the lodge.
Approximate distance for both: 5.5km / elevation gain: 480m
