Write Up:Instead of going to the icefield (saving that for the next day when the
weather forecast indicated clear, sunny skies), we divided into two
groups -- one hiking the circuit to the Bluewater Glacier, over moraines
and through the upper meadows -approx. 495m and 8km. The second group
hiked through the lower meadows, over moraines to the Bluewater Glacier
overlook, and back through the upper meadows - approx. 350m and 6 km.
The meadows were filled with floral colour, and in spite of high cloud,
we had no rain and the views were great.
