Write Up:It rained all the way as we drove to the trailhead. The hardy hikers all wanted to hike anyway.
The rain stopped just as we started hiking at 10:00 AM. The weather cooperated and we had
a fantastic day. One section of the new trail was a bit muddy, otherwise the trail was in great
shape. Wonderful 360 degree views from the summit where we enjoyed lunch.
