Write Up:Partly cloudy as we ascended to Lillian Lake. Had a quick break in the sun by the shore of the
lake before continuing up to Galatea Lakes. While crossing the scree the weather came; a slight
drizzle at first followed by rain turning to slush with cold winds. We reached the Lower Lake and
decided to turn around. The rain was not letting up and the clouds were coming down.
Descended down to Lillian Lake for lunch. We were headed in the right direction leaving the rain
behind and hiking back through almost sunny skies. Always an adventure! Many thanks to
Heather and Laura Lee for joining us and making for a great day in the mountains.
