Write Up:It was a fantastic day in the foothills. We were a group of 9 and
completed the hike without any difficulties. Mount Hoffmann is a
moderate hike with spectacular views at the top. The trail has been
recently upgraded, yet to be signed, and was a soft trail for most of
the hike. While the temperature at the top was about 14 degrees we had
to shelter from the wind for lunch. The drive to the trailhead was also
a pleasure with the colors, cattle, deer and wild sheep.
