Four of us enjoyed our hike up to the active fire lookout. We decided to head back down to the first viewpoint for lunch just in case the weather turned (lucky for us it didn't!). Trail was muddy in a couple of sections. It was quiet in the morning, but we encountered more people going up on our way down. A good day hiking!
