Write Up:Well an interesting and "adventurous" day - lovely sunshine and a
slight breeze at the start though after a few hours we heard thunder
which was moving closer as time went on. Nice walk up Ranger Summit
but the leader missed the sign for Ranger Summit South, and instead we
went down Snakes and ladders for about 1.5 km before a couple of our
experienced participants called a halt as they knew we were heading in
the wrong direction. We reversed back UP the hill, and half an hour
later were back at the fateful junction, where we had lunch. As the
thunder was getting closer and louder, we decided to walk down the way
we had come, as it was shorter. Total distance was 10 km ( plus .5)
and over 400 M. An understanding and kind group.
