Write Up:Another wonderful day in the mountains despite the change in weather. We had everything; sun,
hail with the accompanying thunder and lightning. We only had time for a very short lunch
before the hail storm. It was an intense storm that turned to rain as we descended Volcano
Creek Trail. The optimists in the group thought the rain was only going to last for a short period
but the system stayed with us all the way back to the parking lot. On a more surprising note, not
a tick was found on Little Ware or Mount Ware on this spring hike.
