Write Up:A very enjoyable hike, although not as sunny as forecasted. In several
places, the slick snow made for slower travelling. We hiked the Pine
Ridge Loop to the top of the ridge. After admiring the views from the
top, we proceeded to bushwhack a wee bit to access another trail and
catch up with Steve’s group for lunch. Thanks go out to Joyce for
keeping us on the trails! After lunch & chocolates, we hiked back to the
Sheep River Park Headquarters via Macabee trail and AB-546 highway.
