Write Up:Posted as Taylor Lake, but more accurately, Panorama Meadows (Gem Track
map calls it Larch Meadows) … All Trails on google needs editing because
it combines the Meadows elevations with the Lake distance.
A brilliant fall day, with larches two weeks later than usual.
Eight hikers started off with 4 degrees C, warming up to about 16
degrees; sunny, clear skies, excellent views. Walked to Taylor Lake in a
couple of hours and went happily on to the Panorama Meadows, lunching on
a massive boulder below Panorama Ridge.
Elevation gain ca. 1084 m, return distance 18 km.
