Write Up:Sentinel Peak has yet to be conquered. The GPS route proved to be a challenging bushwhack.
Having had enough of tree whipping, we decided to head up a slope toward the north end of
Plateau Mountain. This proved to be a very good decision. Views of Sentinel, Hailstone Butte
and Mount Burke greeted us for lunch and to top it off, it was not windy. We headed down a
rocky and grassy slope to a well road and followed it back to our cars.
