Write Up:The day was cloudy and very humid. The trail was damp due to the recent rain and much nicer
to walk on than dry and dusty. A leisurely lunch was enjoyed on the logs at the beginning of
Iron Springs where we met a good friend. Rain began just before the end of the hike but it was
light and we didn’t need to put on our rain jackets. Another fine day at WBC with a terrific group.

Note: The destruction at the top of Boundary Ridge from the blow down on December 1, 2021
needs to be seen to be believed. Jaw dropping.Our thanks and appreciation to all those that
cleared the many trials after this catastrophe and that keep them well maintained for our
