Write Up:Grizzly with 2 cubs crossed road a couple of hundred meters from us as we were preparing
to hike at trailhead. We also saw a big garter in the grass. Trail was overgrown with wet
vegetation. We all got soaked in less than a minute of hiking. Bear scat on trail. All wet, dense
jungle vegetation and no visibility from 5 ft high thimble berries we turned back at 3/4 km
and did beautiful Bertha Falls and lake Instead. I took a refreshing dip in the water.
