Due to the fact that the snow is four months behind in melting we had to cancel Goldilocks via Spineback. We did Mount Fernie instead. This trail is very steep and at the top you have two benches. One is for Heiko himself. He built a lot of the trails in the area and was also once the owner of the Fernie Ski Resort. From the benches we continued a couple of km along the rocky ridge until we had enough and turned around. All six of us enjoyed the hike.
