Write Up:Great group of hardy winter hikers on a beautiful day.
One person had a family member that had tested positive for Covid. She
and another family member tested negative. She offered to leave the
group to hike Prairie Mt. on her own. I suggested that if she keep
physically distanced she could hike with us. She offered to tail end
physically distanced. I asked the group 3 times if anybody objected.
No one objected. She stayed about 20 meters behind our group all day.
I thought that was far enough and there was no need to be 2 mountain
ranges away. I asked everyone else to stay 2 meters apart.
She checked with Health Ling (811 and got the following advice:
1) I do not have to do PCR test - because I am double vaccinated,
tested negative using the rapid test and I have no symptoms.
2) I can go to work tomorrow
3) I have no restrictions other than the usual restrictions for
everyone else.
4) obviously, I do not have to isolate.
I am glad we could accommodate her.
