Write Up:We did it! Several of us were determined to summit the southern high point so there was no
turning back once we started. For some of us, this was the third, fourth, fifth or even sixth
(Lorna) attempt. Previous attempts had encountered deep snow and/or bad weather.
A long day with sections of bushwhacking and hiking through clear cuts. Once on the ridges,
however, it was easy hiking with spectacular views.
