Write Up:The slight breeze made our 9 km walk very comfortable.
We started by going down Tiger Lily where we observed a deer quietly munching on
leaves quite oblivious to the 7 of us. We proceeded down Bowbend Trail to Glenbow
Trail and then the Bow River Loop.
Down at the river we enjoyed watching the river flowing swiftly along It is higher than it
was 3 days ago. We were also lucky to see a bald headed eagle soaring overhead.
Coming back on Glenbow Trail we saw many young gophers scurrying back and forth.
Back at the parking lot we had a nice surprise! Janet and Enrique had brought ice
cream treats for everyone. Thank you.
