The weather was great for our 12.4 km hike today. No wind and beautiful blue sky. It was 12 degrees when we finished the hike. We had a variety of trail conditions, dry, muddy and snowy. Pneuma was certainly a real workout. Lots of deep snow. Fortunately there had been one hiker ahead of us so it made trail breaking a bit easier. With the warm temperature the snow clumped on our icers thus there was lots of " hitting the trees " We crossed Moose Mountain Rd, climbed up the hill and then found a clear area where we enjoyed a very relaxing lunch. Riverview also had muddy patches but they were easy to get around. A great day with a great group.
