Write Up:What a bright and sunny day - albeit with a chilly wind off the
mountains. Everyone was on time, and paid their parking fees, so we
were able to start walking at 9:02 a.m.
Trails were soft in a few areas, frozen hard in others, with only a few
icy patches.
We stopped at the lookout/education point after about two hours to
enjoy the view and a snack, and look at the deer in the field far
below.
