Write Up:A fantastic day! We hiked north along Carry Ridge, turning east at Mud Springs Creek and
headed up the north nob of John Ware Ridge, careful to stay on public land. We retraced our
steps to return until the junction for Muley Ridge. At this point, the group divided into two; one
returning the way we came and the other via Muley Ridge. Total distance was approximately
18km with an elevation gain of around 680m. An incredible spring day! A few icy patches but on
the ridge the trail was dry. A big thanks to everyone who hiked with us and made for a great,
early season hike.
