Write Up:It was a bleak looking Friday morning, lots of fog, a temperature
of about 3 degrees and a soft wing when we arrived at the
trailhead. We were quite optimistic as the forecast was for
partially cloudy skies with a high of 13 degrees.
We left the parking lot at about 9:05 and proceeded to the Eagle
Hill/Ridge "picnic" site. By the time we reached the lunch spot
the fog was gone but the sun was obstructed by the chinook ridge.
The views were spectacular with some of the fog still hanging
around at the lower elevations.
The path some in great shape, it was dry and with few obstacles.
