Write Up:Perfect weather, cool at the start, warming up throughout the day:
eight happy hikers went up Quaite Creek and came back via Razor's
Edge (visible on google earth data base, but not standard Gem Track
Map, 5th edition: our "exploratory" hike trail with more great views.
Original estimate of elevation gain 550 m, actual was 775 m, original
plan 11 km return, actual c. 14 km. Time up about 2 hrs 40 mins,
return about 3 hrs, 40 mins.
Lots of strong wind near the Highway at the trails' end.
