Write Up:What a great day, weather was wonderful and the flowers were absolutely spectacular. Seven of us enjoyed the day (except for the flies!!). We made excellent time and were able to enjoy the views from the pass. For those interested in the statistics, my FitBit GPS recorded the following: 21.62 km, 1025.65 metres elevation, time = 6:51 hours and average pace 19.02 (including our lunch break). It was my birthday and I couldn't imagine a better way to spend it than hiking in the mountains. Thanks for coming everyone!!
